UPDATE: It turns out that ies4linux, a program that configures Wine to run Internet Explorer, makes it so that Wine says it is Windows 98. Windows 98 doesn't require validation. Oh well! :-)

Linux passing as Genuine Microsoft Software!
I couldn't believe this... But using IE 6 with Wine under Linux actually passed the Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Test... That is unreal...
